Botanics: a series of  apps for teaching ART!

Workshop Brief:

This workshop will introduce participants to the Botanics app series.  Participants will meet the virtual teaching artists demonstrating pedagogical practice in the arts and be shown how to use the iPad apps for inspiring art learning and teaching with students. Participants will engage in a selection of practical hands on activities from the Botanics: Drawing app with a focus on cross-curriculum connections- science, art theory and skills, experimentation and exploration, creating artworks, presentation and writing a reflective critique.

Participants are kindly asked to bring along a selection of flowers for drawing.

Lee Fullarton

Lee Fullarton is a practicing and teaching artist that has worked with children of all ages within schools and alternative settings in Australian and most recently in New Delhi India. Lee has extensive experience in: visual art practices with children, artist in residence programs, arts project management, developing curriculum resources in the arts for education, galleries and museums and working the arts in the classroom.
