Kerrie Anderson

Kerrie has had over 20 years’ experience teaching Visual Art in the tertiary sector (QUT), and secondary schools, (state and private). She is currently employed at The Southport School, as a Primary Art specialist. She is a passionate advocate for curriculum based Visual Arts education from early childhood to secondary school.

An interest in indigenous Art education and Community Arts, saw Kerrie work at 'Waralungku' Arts Centre in Borroloola Northern Territory in 2014.

Lee Fullarton

Lee FullARTon is a Teaching Artist completing her BA at Queensland College of Art and post graduate studies in Teaching at Mt Gravatt Teachers College. Lee currently works in state schools, teaching across the arts disciplines of visual art, drama, dance and media as well as working freelance. Lee’s current visual art practice including multimedia works are influenced extensively by her travels through Asia. Lee declares that her experiences not only provide inspiration for her own work but significantly contribute to the energy of sharing and teaching art to children.

Joy Pohlner

Joy has a utiilised The Arts in education as a focus through her teaching career. Her innovative ways have brought about authentic learnings and understandings. This workshop will use drawing Investigations based on the Reggio Emiilia approach and will support literacy in the Early Years .
